New Signal Promotes Pedestrian Safety
The HAWK is coming to Salt Lake County. HAWK is an acronym for High-intensity Activated crossWalK. It’s a pushbutton-activated pedestrian signal designed to provide a way to increase pedestrian safety while reducing the amount of delay for vehicles.
